This one-of-a-kind original illustration by Herbert Morton Stoops, White Beaver Medicine features a white man on one knee, a Native American woman on the ground in front of him looking as if shes trying to get away. On the right side of the illustration, the next page of the magazine, another Native American woman is standing and waving a blanket.
